Instead of buying Christmas presents for each other this year, there is a family who has decided to “create” Christmas for their family and donate the unused Christmas funds to charity. Not so unusual…..but wait.
For his part, the husband in this family has decided to compile a collection of letters for his wife. Mother Letters, that is. Words of encouragement, concerns or worries, funny stories, whatever. From one mother to another.
And not just one mother is helping out – this husband has more than FOUR HUNDRED letters compiled, thanks to the amazing contributions of mom-bloggers all over the internet.
Can you just imagine how this woman will feel come Christmas morning, opening a huge book of these letters? Getting swept up in the amazing current that is motherhood, in all its shapes and sizes and forms? I say BIG points go to this husband for an original, creative, thoughtful present this year!
