Why this conference?
The Type A Mom Conference has managed to bring together some of the most admired, influential women actively blogging today to speak on the topic of taking blogs and social media to the “next level.” The conference promises to be a powerhouse of ideas and information, and your name could soon be on the lips of women who know how to network, market, and buzz better than the rest.
Why this blogger?
I have been blogging for more than three years and have an established voice and knowledge of social media. In addition to writing about my family and issues facing parents today, I also partner with many companies to provide engaging product reviews and giveaways. I frequently contribute freelance articles to online parenting and literary magazines, I vlog, and in June 2009 I launched my own live-streaming show at MomTV called Book Smart. One of the highlights of my blogging career came in February 2009, when I was invited by the organizers of the first annual Mom 2.0 Summit to represent them while “tweeting” and live blogging the conference events. I was also pleased to recently be asked to participate on a panel of vloggers to discuss The Emergence of the Mommy Vlogger, a webinar hosted by the incredibly prolific Maria Bailey. In short, I know who I am, I know what I’m doing, and I know how to work professionally to represent your company, brand, or product.
What does sponsorship include?
I am currently looking to work with companies who could provide a partial sponsorship of $100/$200 to offset travel costs and incidentals. I am also very interested in talking with companies specializing in clothing (plus-size)/shoes/accessories to sponsor conference attire.
What will you receive in exchange for your sponsorship?
These terms are negotiable, based on your needs and my interest/ability to fulfill your request. I am willing to hand out any promotional materials at the conference, including business cards and flyers, I am willing to wear unique clothing/accessories as advertisement. Related to online representation, I am willing to discuss premium advertising on my blog, a series of sponsored vlogs or posts, and/or regular, ongoing advertising on my live-streaming internet show. I will also actively post updates about your company, brand, or product on Twitter and Facebook.
