I know I was vague on Twitter… I didn’t want to get into details there… but here’s the scoop…
We are looking for a blogger who would like to gain links and exposure to their own sites in exchange for helping us manage our directories.
We have a custom software program that we use to add and edit entries in our directories, but it still is a rather manual and time consuming process.
The perfect person would be someone who is already on their computer at several different times during the day so that she could press publish on several listings throughout the day and evening. It isn’t a time consuming task to actually publish each listing, but rather something that can be done while multi-tasking with various tasks.
We reached out to find someone through Twitter, because the same multi-tasking skills are required that make someone effective with Twitter.
The job also requires sending out email responses to people interested in being listed. Those emails are mostly a matter of copy and pasting.
We think that the job would take around an hour per day, but spread over several times during the day.
